What does my dancer wear?

  • UPDS Rehearsals are Mandatory.

  • Competition rehearsal: Friday, January 19th  is NOT a dress rehearsal.

    • Dancers are required to wear competition dress code. ​

      • Black leotard or top, black bottoms. ​

      • Hair is REQUIRED to be in a low clean bun 

      • Competition Dancers will perform all competition routines in the 4 pm shows. 

      • Competition Soloist will perform in the Competition Soloist Showcase at 6pm.

  • Recreational rehearsal: Saturday, January 18th is NOT a dress rehearsal.

    • Your dancer does NOT need to wear their costume to this rehearsal. 

  • Our UPDS rehearsals are closed rehearsals. No parents/guardians will be able to watch these rehearsal. We love to keep  our rehearsals closed for the fact of keeping our routine a surprise for the show.

  • ALL DANCERS:

    • DANCERS NEED TO BE CHECKED IN BACKSTAGE 30 MINUTES BEFORE SHOWTIME ON THE DAY OF THE SHOW. 

    • DANCERS NEED TO BE DRESSED AND READY TO DANCE AT THAT TIME. 

    • Make sure to label all costume pieces, dancer shoes and activities with your dancers name.

COMPETITION SOLOIST SHOWCASE 6pm

  • Ticket Information: 

    • When one purchases a ticket for the 4PM show, that ticket will be used for both the 4PM Show AND the Competition Soloist Showcase.

    • One will not need to purchase an additional ticket for the Soloist Showcase.

    • The selected seat for the 4PM Show will also be used for the Soloist Showcase

    • In regards to the Soloist Showcase, there will be tickets available for purchase immediately following the end of the 4PM Show.

      • These tickets will be general admission, and those individuals will have to select an open seat that isn’t already in use from those staying from the previous show.
